Religious Change. 1st Post Due by Day 3. Religion is not static, but changes over time as do other elements of culture. Based on the readings, what factors are important for religious change, such as the significance of the Muslim veil or the rising power seen in small terrorist groups, due to globalization and constant media coverage? Identify a religious change, either the emergence of a new movement or the change of a ritual, practice, or dogma, you have observed in your own culture. Provide evidence for that change, in the form of a reference. How would you explain that change? What social, economic, or cultural factors led to the change?
