Working with people such as is described in this week’s module on human resources requires application of negotiation and mediation skills. For this discussion, consider a selected organizational or community challenge such as implementation of a COVID-19 response within your organization or community.

Using the five styles of conflict management, describe how your negotiation and mediation approaches might differ.

Experts on conflict management have defined early approaches to conflict resolution as incorporating five styles (Kraybill, 2005), from which various conflict resolution models have since been derived.
