The length of this assignment is to be no less than 3 and no greater than 6 pages, excluding title and reference pages.
APA format is required with both a title page and reference page (no abstract is required). Use the required components of the review as Level 1 headers (upper and lower case, centered)
Note: Introduction – Write an introduction but do not use “Introduction” as a heading in accordance with the rules put forth in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
Preparing the Assignment
Linear regression is used to model or predict unknown outcomes based on relationships between independent and dependent variables. Simple linear regression allows us to look at the linear relationship between one normally distributed interval predictor and one normally distributed interval outcome variable.
You will complete a Linear Regression analysis for this assignment using the data set provided.
Module 1 Data set (Links to an external site.)
The variables you will consider are smoking of the mother and if the babies were of low birth weight.
You will include a narrative that includes possible hypotheses and null hypotheses, an explanation of the relationship between the variables, and report the important results in APA format.

You will complete a paired T-test analysis for this assignment using the data set provided to you.
Module 2 Dataset (Links to an external site.)
A study tested whether cholesterol was reduced after using a certain brand of margarine as part of a low fat, low cholesterol diet. The subjects consumed on average 2.31g of the active ingredient, stanol ester, a day. This data set contains information on 18 people using margarine to reduce cholesterol over three time points. There are two populations, A and B.
You will compare the means in population A pre and post intervention to that of population B pre and post intervention.
The variables you will consider are cholesterol levels and the use of margarine.
You will include a narrative that includes possible hypotheses and null hypotheses, an explanation of the relationship between the variables, and report the important results in APA format.

For this assignment, you will concentrate on improving your literature review by providing at least 20 peer reviewed articles and start to think about ethical considerations and bias.
You will also look at your question using a different method. For instance, if you are looking at your topic qualitatively, for this paper you will look at it quantitatively.
Finally, you will list the limitations of both qualitative and quantitative studies and provide support for the method that best fits your research question.

Logistic regression allows us to look at categorical data and see if there is an association between variables. You will complete logistic regression to determine whether the social class predicts behavior. The variable "vehicle" will show social status with 1 being low social status up to 5, the highest high social status. Here the "cutting people off" displays a person's behavior, with 0 meaning they don't cut people off and 1 meaning they do. Explain your findings using the data set provided to you labeled Module 5.
