For each of the following sections, answer the questions with your textbook.

This document you are reading is formatted correctly as a .PDF if you want to use it as an example of how your Unit Activity should look. You must submit your document in .DOC, .DOCX, or .PDF format that includes all 4 parts of this Unit 3 Activity. Post questions, ideas, and concerns in the Unit 3 Activity forum in our discussion board.

Part 1: Professor Rogers’ Trial (5 points). Read “Professor Rogers’ Trial” on pages 164-165 of your text. Answer these 3 questions noted in your text: 1. Who is most responsible/at blame for the group grade of a D? Why? 2. Who can you relate to the most out of the group? Have you ever been an Anthony, Donald, or Sylvia? Explain why you relate to them the most. 3. If you were the 4th group member, when and how could you help resolve the group conflict?

Part 2: Strange Choices (5 points). Read “Strange Choices” on page 200 of your text. Answer the following questions: Which 2 students made the strangest choices? Speculate as to why they made that choice. Be sure to dive deep and consider: What past experiences might have made them that way, what their inner conversation might be like with the Inner Defender and inner Critic, what are their habitual feelings and behaviors, and how could their strange choice impact their personal or professional lives?

Part 3: After Math (5 points). Read “After Math” in your text on page 277. Rank the characters in the story from Least Emotionally Intelligent (1) to Most Emotionally Intelligent (5). Answer the Diving Deeper question regarding what advice you would the person you ranked least emotionally intelligent. How could they handle the situation differently and what could they do in the future to make more rational decisions?

Part 4: Sleep (5 points). Answer the follow questions/reflections: How much sleep are you consistently getting a night? Is that enough for you to be a successful student? Why or why not? How do you know? What roles, objects, and people contribute to inadequate sleep for you personally? What is 1 healthy thing you could do today/tonight to improve your sleep quality and quantity?
