SOC401 Civic Engagement, Volunteerism, and Community Outreach

Use the community and the issue you or one of your colleagues wrote about in your Needs-Based Assessments and Community Outreach discussion from Week 2. Explain how civic engagement or volunteering might help that community and explain why.

• Using the required reading for this week, explain how using a psychological sense of community framework is essential to effect social change.
